I first saw Daniel Webb at a Stoned vs. Drunk vs. Sober show at… yes, The New Movement Theater. It was a couple of years ago. I don’t remember if it was pre or post his headline grabbing fist bump with President Obama. In the big scheme of things, it doesn’t matter when the show happened, because Webb was on the ball.
This past week, Valerie Lopez sat down with Daniel Webb and talked about his past, how he got into comedy, and his younger days in Ft. Worth. His reasons for coming to Austin may be a bit surprising.

Webb has plans to participate in the upcoming Funniest Person in Austin contest at Cap City Comedy Club this year. Hell also be performing at the annual Moontower Comedy Festival. More information about his upcoming performances can be found on his website.
