2024 Moontower Comedy Festival Recs with Tracey Schulz

Tracey Schulz is our com­e­dy best friend in Austin. Whether it’s music, tele­vi­sion, movies, or com­e­dy, Tracey always has his pulse on what’s new and enter­tain­ing. We thought we’d kick off 2024 Moon­tow­er Com­e­dy Fes­ti­val with our high­lights and who and what we’re excit­ed to see at this year’s festival.

Whether it’s the big font head­lin­ers, the local comics doing big things, or the per­sis­tent per­form­ers who’ve been grind­ing their way from lit­tle fonts to big fonts, we talk about them all.

There are some his­to­ry-mak­ing events at this year’s fes­ti­val — the reunion of The State and the return of Andy Kindler to Moon­tow­er. Valerie talks about her upcom­ing fea­ture in the Austin Chron­i­cle talk­ing about Andy’s return.
